Community

• Free to use
• Unlimited storage
• Limited set of built-in Libraries
• Extensible using C/C++ or Python extensions

Pro

• Support available by DataThings team
• Enhanced performance
• Advanced security features such as SSO integrations or rate limiter
• Extensive set of libraries to cover integration in Cloud platforms such Kafka connectors

Open Source

DataThings engage to Open Source GreyCat parts along the development of the Pro editions

• Application Binary Protocol
• SDK for C
• SDK for Java
• SDK for Python
• SDK for Rust
• Standard WebComponents
• Web explorer
• BasicC and MQTT Libraries
• Sample of DigitalTwin such as transportation management system

The documentation you see on this site provides baseline explanations on the core concepts of GreyCat as well as many code snippets to exemplify its’s usage.

We also try to show some potential pitfalls or misconceptions and provide guidance to avoid them.
